The Idle Hour Country Club tennis facilities consist of eight clay courts, and five hard courts. Idle Hour’s tennis programs cater to all levels of play for adults and children. The club offers USTA leagues in Women’s 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0.; Men’s 3.5 and Men’s Senior 4.0.

Always sign in before play, and if you have a guest playing with you please let the tennis shop know. The guest fee is $15.00 per guest. The ball machine is complimentary to all members.
Director of Tennis Craig A. Jones, has been with Idle Hour since 2005. Craig has had many different accomplishments throughout his 30 years of teaching.

Including, ten time Davis Cup Coach for Georgia, three-time Georgia Pro of the Year, named "High Performance Coach" in 1998 (Top 20 Coach picked by USTA), two-time President of the Georgia Junior Tennis Council, three-time Southern National Coach, and has had nearly 100 players receive college scholarships.

Additionally, he was inducted into the Rome, Georgia Hall of Fame in 2002, Davis Cup’s Coach for Boys and Girls age 12 in 2006, and inducted into the Macon, Georgia Hall of Fame in 2009.
