Club Rules

House Rules

 
1.   Applicability of Rules - All members, regardless of classification, are subject to all House Rules.

2.   Responsibility of the General Manager - The General Manager is charged with complete responsibility for the operation of Idle Hour Golf and Country Club and for the enforcement of all rules.

3.   Hours of Operation - The Clubhouse will open at 9:00a.m. and close at 11:30p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and close at 12:30a.m. on Friday, Saturday and 10:30p.m. on Sunday.  On Monday the Clubhouse will be closed all day.  In case of entertainment by the Club, or by any member of the club, the House Committee is authorized to suspend the operation of this rule for such occasions.  Such suspension will not apply to anyone not participating in the entertainment.  Any member remaining in the Clubhouse after the hours prescribed will be reported to the Board of Directors and at the Board’s discretion will be subject to penalties as set forth in the Bylaws.

4.   Recommendations and Instructions - Members will not give instructions to any employee which are contrary to the rules of the Club.  All suggestions for changes regarding these rules  will be made to the General Manager and then brought at his/her discretion to the Board of Directors for their approval.

5.   Charge Tickets - A member will sign a ticket at the time any food, beverage, or other service is received.

6.   Payment in cash is forbidden - A member will not pay to a waiter or to any other Club employee cash for food, beverage or other service, and all purchases will be by charge ticket. The Club has a strict no tipping policy with regards to food and beverage service.

7.   Authorized Charge Ticket Signatures - Only such member’s family that are authorized by the member may sign tickets.  A member is responsible for all charges incurred by family members and/or non-members accompanying a family member.

8.  Cancellation Policy - In order to adequately prepare for upcoming events the Club  retains the right to a 48 hour cancellation policy.  All cancellations requested prior to 48 hours of the event will receive a confirmation number.  Failure to cancel a reservation for an event within 48 hours will result in a charge to the members account for the event cost.

9.  Suggestions and Complaints - Suggestions and complaints in regard to the service and operation of the Clubhouse should be made in writing to the Clubhouse Manager or Chairman of the House Committee.

10. Private Parties - It is the responsibility of the House Committee to fix charges for all services and to issue rules and regulations for private parties. Such parties may be arranged upon application to the Management, and all supplies used at such parties must be purchased from the Club. The member arranging for a private party will assume responsibility for all damage to Club property.  Permission of Management must first be obtained before any furniture is moved or any decorations are used in connection with any such party.

11. Attire - Members and their guest should be suitably attired while in the Clubhouse. Bathing suits, cut-offs, tank tops and tattered clothing are not considered appropriate attire. Shoes are always required. Hats are not to be worn in the Clubhouse except in the Sports Bar, Pro Shop and Locker Room.  No tee-shirts are allowed in Trotters; collared shirts are required for men.  Members are reminded that they are responsible for their guests meeting the dress code of the Club.
 
12. Pets - Pets are not allowed in the Clubhouse or on the grounds.
 
13. Golf Shoes - Idle Hour is a “spikeless” facility.
 
14. Card Games - All card games will end promptly at midnight and players must be out of the card room by 12:30am. Management will report any violation to the Board of Directors for appropriate action under the applicable section of the bylaws. No card games may be played except in places provided for that purpose.
 
15. Purchases of Beverages - ALL food and beverages, including beer, must be purchased from the Club.  No member will serve or consume any food, beer, wine, liquor, or other beverages, which was not purchased from the Club.  The General Manager must approve any circumstances resulting from special dietary needs. Any infraction of this rule will be reported to the Board of Directors for appropriate action or fine.
 
16. Non-member Guests - Unless restricted by the Board, members have the privilege of bringing non-member guests.
 
17. Responsibility for Personal Property - The Club will not be responsible for the safekeeping of personal property of members or their guests.
 
18. Disorderly Conduct - Any person guilty of disorderly conduct will be reported to the Board of Directors for appropriate action.  Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests.
 
19. Parking - Parking is allowed only in the lined parking spaces.  Parking in other locations is prohibited except during special events.  Any infraction of this rule will be reported to the Board of Directors for appropriate action or fine by the Board of Directors.
 
20. Cell Phone Usage – Cell phones should be placed on silent or vibrate mode upon entering the Clubhouse.  Cell phone usage is not permitted in the Sports Bar, Trotters or The Grille.  In order to ensure the safety of our members, cell phone usage is prohibited while operating equipment in The Wellness Center.    

21. Sports Bar - Admission to the Sports Bar is restricted to adult members and their guests who are twenty‑one (21) years of age or older.  Alcoholic beverages will not be served to anyone, anywhere, under the age of 21, and when necessary, proof of age may be requested.

22. The Grille – Reservations are recommended for Thursday night “2 for 1,” first Friday “All You Can Eat Prime Rib and Crab Legs,” and Sunday Brunch Buffet.  For casual dining, Children are welcome!

23. Teen Room - Same hours as The Grille. Children eight years and older may dine without their parents. Parents must remain on property at all times. The Teen Room is first come, first serve.  See Rule #30 Children in the Club.
 
24. Food Minimum - All members, with the exception of non‑resident members, are required to spend a quarterly food minimum. Those members spending less than the quarterly food minimum will be charged the difference between what they spend and the minimum.
 
25. Set Service Charge - A monthly set food and beverage service charge will be applied to all member accounts.  For functions held in private rooms, separate food and beverage service charges apply.
 
26. Locker Rooms - Separate locker rooms for ladies and men.  Normal closing time is 10:30 p.m.  Locker rooms are provided for the use of adults only. Children under (18) eighteen years of age are not permitted in the Ladies locker room. Children under (21) twenty-one years of age are not permitted in the Men’s locker room. The locker fee is billed semi-annually in advance. 
 
27. Use of Facilities by Organizations - The use of Club facilities by organizations is subject to approval by the General Manager.  An appeal may be made to the Chairman of the House Committee.  No high school organizations will be allowed to hold dances/proms at the Club.
     
28. Guests - Single members are allowed to bring a guest to member-only functions.  For specifics concerning other areas of operations such as tennis and golf, refer to those sections.
 
29. Children in the Club - Children under the age of 18 are governed by the following rules while in the Club. 
            A.  Children are to display proper manners and respectful language, becoming and expected of gentlemen and ladies, to all guests and staff.
            B.  Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible person 18 years of age or older.
            C.  All children in the Clubhouse must be appropriately dressed. Unacceptable clothing includes cutoffs, tank tops, swimming shorts, un-tucked
                  shirts, and hats of any style.
            D.  Children unaccompanied by an adult are not allowed on any part of the Club’s property after 9:00 p.m.
            E.   Children under the age of 18 are not allowed in the Ladies Locker Room and must be 21 years of age to be in the Sports Bar and the Men’s Locker
                    Room.
            F.   Skates, skateboards, scooters (motorized and manual) and roller blades are not allowed on any part of the Club’s property.
            G.  Bicycles are allowed on paved roads only.  They are not allowed on cart paths or on the golf course.
            H.  Children are also to abide by the rules governing golf, tennis, and the fitness and pool facilities.
 
30.  Smoking - Cigar, pipe, cigarettes, and electronic cigarettes of any kind are prohibited in the entire Clubhouse. Smoking is only allowed outside of the Club.
 
 

Golf Course Rules

 

1.  General Golf Rules

A.  Monday Closing - The golf shop, golf course, par 3, putting greens, practice greens and golf learning center will be closed on Monday. Violations will result in suspension of privileges and or fines.
B.  Golf Shop Hours – Tuesday through Friday the Golf Shop will open at 7:30a.m. daily and close at 6:00p.m. Saturday and Sunday the Golf shop will open at 7:00a.m. and close at 6:00p.m.  (Shop will close at 6:30p.m. during daylight savings time)
C.  Registration – All Players must register in the Golf Shop prior to playing.  Failure to do so will result in suspension of privileges and or fines.
D.  Closing the Golf Course – The Golf Committee or the Golf Course Superintendent retains the privilege of closing any part or the entire course at any time without notice.
E.  Rules Applicable – U.S.G.A. “Rules of Golf” will be observed – local golf rules appear on the scorecards.
F.  Fivesomes or More Prohibited – Fivesomes or more are not permitted at any time. Violations will result in suspension of privileges and or fines.
G.  Food and Beverage - All food and beverage must be purchased at the club. Failure to honor this rule will result in a suspension of privileges and or fines.
H.  Fishing – Fishing on Idle Hour property is allowed on Monday Only! (No Fishing during Monday Outings) Members & Employees Only!
I.   Soft Spikes – The use of soft spikes on the course is mandatory for all players.  The Men’s Locker Room Attendant will install soft spikes for members at $10 per set and will install soft spikes for non- members at $12 per set.
J.   Pedestrian Traffic – Due to errant golf balls, pedestrian traffic is strictly prohibited during normal golfing hours, 8:00a.m. to dark.
K.  Attire – Appropriate golf attire is required for all players playing or practicing.
Gentleman – Shirts with collars and sleeves and always tucked in must be worn at all times.  Slacks must be worn, except shorts that are longer than 17" and are no more than 3 ½” above the knee.  No tank tops, T-Shirts, bathing suits, sweat pants, denim jeans, or athletic shorts are permitted.   Short sleeve mock neck shirts will not be permitted on the golf course or the practice facilities.
Ladies - Dresses, skirts, skorts, slacks, golf shorts, blouses and golf shirts are considered appropriate attire.  Dresses, skirts, skorts, slacks and golf shorts
must come within 4 inches of the knee.  No halter tops, cut-offs, sweat pants, warm up suits, denim of any kind, tennis, swimming outfits, jogging outfits, athletic shorts, exercise tights or short shorts are permitted.  Tank tops, spaghetti straps, bare midriffs and revealing clothing are not permitted.  The Golf Committee and Golf Staff reserve the right to determine if a player’s clothing is considered appropriate and may request a change of attire before the player is permitted on the course.
Juniors – Same attire as above. Shirts must be tucked in and headwear worn properly.
L.   All players must have their own bags and clubs.    


 

2.  Practice Facility

A.  Hours – The driving range tee at the warm-up end will open at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday thru Sunday.  The Golf Learning Center will open at 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Tuesday thru Saturday. 
B.  Hitting Area – Designated between the ropes – with no exceptions.
C.  Range Balls – Must stay in the range area. Use on the golf course will be subject to a suspension of privileges and or fine.
D.  Dress Code – Same requirements under rule # 1 – K.


 

3.  Golf Guests

A.  Restrictions on Invitations to Local Guests – Members may invite local non-members of the Club to play golf, subject to conditions.  The same local non-member may not be invited more than four times during a calendar year, even though different members might invite him/her.  “It is the responsibility of the member to record the guest’s name in the Guest Book located in the Golf Shop.”
B.  Other Restrictions - There must be a member present in each golfing foursome on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday unless prior authorization is given by the golf committee and/or Golf Pro Shop.
C.  A dependent child of a member may be accompanied by a non-member relative provided that the member account is charged the appropriate guest fees.

 

4. Guest Fees/Cart Fees

A. Guest Fee 18 Holes - $75.00 + tax, non-family / $50.00 + tax family members
B. Guest Fee 9 Holes - $37.50 + tax, non-family / $25.00 + tax family members
C. Cart Fees – 18 holes $24.00 + tax / 9 holes $14.00 + tax
DJunior Green Fee - $25.00 + tax / Juniors 18 and under
E.  Trolley Fees - $9.00 + tax per 18 holes / $6.00 + tax per 9 holes.
 

5. Golf Tee Times

A. Starting Times – All starting times must be obtained through the Golf Shop. The golf operations staff will determine how the tee times are administered on a daily basis.
B.  Failure to Appear for a Starting Time – All players are asked to be prompt by showing up for their scheduled tee time five minutes early. If your group is not present and ready at your starting time, the following group(s) will be sent ahead.  Your group will then be worked in at the next available time so as not to disturb the pace of play.
C.  Pace of Play – You are required to keep pace with the group in front of you.  The Golf Committee has established four hours as the pace standard for Idle Hour.
D. Registration – All golfers must register in the Golf Shop before play.  Failure
     to do so will result in suspension of privileges and or fines.

 

6.  Golf Cart Rules

Failure to adhere to Golf Cart Rules will result in suspension and/or fines.
A.  Driving Policy – Carts should remain on paths at all times at tees and greens. No carts shall be driven within one hundred feet of any green or tee (except on a path).  No cart shall be driven on any slope, hill, or mound around a green or tee.
B.  90-Degree Rule – Effective daily unless the “Cart Path Only” sign is posted by the Golf Course Superintendent.
C.  Age – Each driver must be at least sixteen (16) years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
D.  Bags on Cart – No more than two bags on a standard golf cart.
E.  Person Renting Cart – All people renting a cart are responsible for the cart and passenger.
F.  Return Policy – Return golf cart and key to the cart area after completion of the round.
G.  Yellow Flag – Given to players who have a medical condition.  Any member who requires a yellow flag must submit a yearly request from their doctor to the Golf Committee for approval.  (Yellow Flags will not be permitted on Red Tag Days / 4 Yearly Exemptions per person)
H.  Rules of the Yellow Flag – Not obeying the yellow flag rules will be looked upon with extreme disfavor.
         a.   Golf carts must remain on the cart path around tees and greens (no closer than 100 feet from the green – no exceptions).
         b.   Avoid all worn and wet areas.
         c.   The Golf Committee or Golf Course Superintendent has the privilege to not allow yellow flags without notice due to the condition of the golf course
                and weather.
         d.   Failure to adhere to these rules will result in suspension of privileges and/or fines.
 

7.  Trolley Usage

A.  Private Trolleys - The use of private trolleys will not be allowed.  All trolleys must be rented from Idle Hour Club.
B.  Pick Up & Drop Off - Trolleys must be picked up and returned to the downstairs bag storage area.
 

8.  Handicaps/U.S.G.A Rules

A.  Handicapping – Handicaps will be computed under the supervision of the Golf Committee, Handicap Committee, and Golf Professional.
B.  U.S.G.A. – All handicaps will be in accordance with the U.S.G.A.
C.  Amateur Status – Restriction on prizes is within accordance with the U.S.G.A. policy.  No cash prizes will be awarded for any tournament.
D. Posting Scores - Scores must be posted within 72 hours of the round played including away and tournament scores. Failure to post scores in a timely manner will result in the entry of a replacement score of an automatic 72.

 

9.  Golf Course Etiquette

A.  Divots – Either you or your caddie must fill every divot with sand (avoid taking divots on practice swings).
B.  Ball Marks – On the greens, please repair yours and all other visible ball marks and avoid dragging feet.
C.  On the tees – Tee your ball between and not forward of the markers. Please pick up broken tees.
D.  Practice - Must be confined to designated practice areas.  Practice on the golf course is strictly forbidden.  The Golf Professional is authorized to stop any infringement.
E.  Walkers - Golf Bags are not to lie or stand on the greens.
F.  Golf Carts - Never leave the golf cart in front of the green where you will have to go back to get it.
G.  Pace of Play - If you are not holding your place on the course, allow the players behind you to play through.
H.  Bunkers - Rake all bunkers after use. Rakes shall be placed to the outside of the bunker away from the greenside.
 

10.  Junior Golfers - Any Golfer under the age of 18

A.  Adult Supervision – The golf shop staff will be responsible for administering and monitoring of all junior golf play
B.  Golf Clubs – A junior golfer must have their own set of clubs and bag to play
C.  Locker Rooms – No one less then eighteen (18) years of age is allowed in the Ladies Locker Room and no one less than (21) years of age is allowed in the Men’s Locker Room.
D.  Restrictions of Junior Play
Tuesday thru Friday - Tee off anytime
Saturday - Tee off after 1:00p.m./ Morning available when accompanied by an adult                                     
Sunday - Tee off after 4:00p.m./ Morning & afternoon available when accompanied by an adult
All practice areas are the same as the golf course availability.  The golf staff has the right to waive certain rules under certain circumstances.  The degree of play on the golf course and the ability of the Junior Golfer will determine these exceptions. Please call at 477-2092.  It is anticipated that any such exception will not be granted between March 1st and October 1st.
 E. Cooperation Requested – Members are asked to be cooperative and helpful toward all junior golfers.  Players are asked to observe these regulations and any modifications that may be adopted by the Golf Committee.  The Golf Professional is asked to see that no infractions occur.  Your cooperation will avoid embarrassment and add pleasure to the use of the course by all members.
 

11.  Events

A. Calendar - An annual Activities Calendar will be e-mailed at the beginning of each year and monthly updates will be provided.
B. Sign Up – Will be done at Golf Shop or Learning Center. Please call 477-2092 for the Golf shop and 477-8777 for the Learning Center with any questions.
C. Cancellation Policy - Failure to cancel out of an event within 48 hours will result in a charge of the event cost.
 

12.  Lightning Policy

It is mandatory to leave the golf course immediately once the lightning siren is sounded.  Play will be suspended until a second siren is sounded to re-start play. 
Failure to adhere to these rules will result in a suspension of privileges and or fines.  Members will be held responsible for their guests. Do not finish the hole!
 
Any violation of the rules or policies will result in a penalty process that begins with a verbal or written warning followed by a minimum fine of $50 and finally suspension.
 
 

Swimming Pool Rules

 
1.  Description of the Pool - The Idle Hour pool is “L” shaped, 75’x 75'.  There is a separate section designed for small children.  Children in our 12’ x 12’ baby pool must be accompanied by an adult.  The bottom, sides, and pool deck are specially designed with a non-slip texture to serve members and their guests.

2.   Registration - All pool users are required to sign the register as they enter the pool area.  Parents must complete a  Child Registration Form for children under 16 years of age.  If this form is not on file, child (children) will not be permitted to swim.
 
3.  Guests - Guests may be invited to the pool when accompanied by a member or a dependent of a member.  There are guest fees for the following:  In-town Guests or Relatives, Out-of-Town Guests/or Relatives, and Houseguests.  Out of town grandchildren of members may use the pool at no charge provided they are accompanied and supervised by their member grandparent.
 
4.   Opening and Closing - The pool regularly opens Memorial Day weekend and remains open through the Labor Day weekend.  The pool is closed on Mondays.  The pool may close earlier than the scheduled time on any day when there are no swimmers or due to inclement weather. A “Swim at Your Own Risk” policy will apply from the day after Labor Day through the month of September, when no lifeguard will be present.  During this time, only members and spouses of members may enter the pool area.
 
5.   Safety Rules - In order to assure the safety of swimmers, the rules hereinafter set forth must be observed.  The lifeguards are charged with the responsibility of enforcement of these rules and are authorized to take any necessary, disciplinary action against offenders.  It is felt that the established rules allow maximum enjoyment of the facility without sacrificing safety. These rules are as follows:           
       A. Only members and spouses of members (over the age of 21) will use the pool when there is not an employed lifeguard on duty.
       B.  Even when an employed lifeguard is on duty, children under the age of nine are not permitted to use the pool without the continual supervision of
              an adult unless approved by the pool supervisor, or head lifeguard, after meeting specific swimming qualifications. Divers unable to swim the width
               of the pool will not be permitted to use the diving board without parental supervision.
      C.  No running, fast walking or tag games are allowed on the concrete decks around the pool.
      DFloatation devices are not allowed beyond the lifeline.
      E.  Balls may not be used in the pool area unless they are of the beach ball variety (soft and inflated by mouth). 
      F.  Glass containers of any kind are prohibited on the deck around the pool.
      G.  Swimmers are not permitted to play on the rope separating the shallow water from the deep.
      H.  Skateboarding, roller blading, and bicycle riding are not permitted in the pool area.
      I.   Children three years and older, as well as any child not potty trained, must wear snug fitting plastic pants, or a water resistant swim diaper.
 
6.   Special Rules for the Diving Board Area:
      A.  Only one person will be allowed on the diving board at a time. Divers must not climb the ladder or mount the board until the person ahead has left
             the board.
      B.  Divers must jump or dive off the end of the board and then swim to the nearest side.
      C.  It is very dangerous to dive off a board wearing swim fins or a diving mask.  This practice will not be allowed.
      D.  Only one bounce may be taken on the diving board. The board is extremely flexible and continual bouncing may cause loss of balance.
      E.  No swimming underneath the diving board.       
 
7.   Other Rules
      A.  Marco Polo:  Swimmers are not allowed out of the water. The lower ledge may not be used to stand on and dive in. There will be no running. The
            game must be conducted in an orderly manner and can be stopped at any time be a lifeguard when in his judgment the game is interfering with
            other swimmers.
      B.  Only swimmers wearing bathing suits will be allowed in the pool. This means no shorts or cut-offs.
      C.  No interfering with the lifeguard’s duties (which include administering punishment).
      D.  All trash must be placed in the proper receptacles.
      E.  All food must be consumed on the Youth Building porch or within the designated areas beyond the white line.
      F.  Proper language will be required at all times.
      G.  No one is allowed in the First Aid Room unless authorized.
      H.  Only qualified swimmers will be allowed to swim in the deep end.
      I.   No boisterous or rough play will be allowed in or around the pool, and violators will be subject to discipline by the lifeguards. Repeated violations
             will be grounds for suspension.
      J.   All telephone conversations using the club phone will be limited to three minutes.
      K.  The pool area consists of the pool deck, pool house, playground, Youth Building, and the pool parking lot.
      L.   It must be realized that it would be impossible to compile a complete list of rules covering every possible situation. If a person is disciplined for
             reasons other than the above, it must be understood that it was a case of improper conduct. The pool manager, head guard, or any member of that
              staff will be glad to discuss the reason behind the infraction and/or punishment.
 
 

Tennis Court Rules
 

1.   Registration - Each member must register in the Pro Shop before taking a court.  Guests must be registered by the host member.
 
2.   Proper Tennis Attire - Smooth soled tennis shoes must be worn, i.e., no running shoes.  No one will be allowed to play while wearing rough soled shoes, basketball shoes, heels or while barefooted.  Bathing suits are not permitted. Shirts must be worn at all times.
 
3.   Tennis Etiquette - Standard tennis etiquette will be observed at all times; no loud noises, unnecessary conversation,  profanity, or throwing of rackets.
 
4.   Spectators - No one other than actual participants may be inside the fenced area.  Those waiting to play, spectators,  and children will stay outside the fenced area.  Unattended children under the age of eight are not allowed in the tennis or Pro Shop area.
 
5.   Court Procedure:
Dues Paying Members:
A.  Courts 1-8 may be reserved from 9:00 a.m.-9:30 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday.
B.  Members may ask for a certain court.
C.  Courts may be reserved for one and one-half hours and may be reserved by phone or in person.
D.  All names playing must be listed.
E.  When any of the courts are not in playable condition—assignments will be based on the order of calls received. (First caller gets first available court, second caller gets second court, etc.)
F.  No player may reserve more than one court in advance.
G.  If a player is more than 15 minutes late, the reservation will be cancelled.               

Juniors:
Juniors cannot sign up for courts 1-8 in advance.  However, Juniors may sign up on courts 1-8 if the court is available at the time of sign up.  On Wednesdays, the tennis professionals can use courts 3 & 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. if needed.

 Pro Court:
A.  Two courts will be reserved for use by the Tennis Professional: One soft and one hard or, two courts that  are together for the purpose of clinics.
B.  Members may use the court when not in use by the Pro, but must relinquish it when the court is needed by the Pro.
C.  Other courts may be designated with the approval of the Tennis Chairman for teaching purposes.
 
6.   Playing Conditions: When the weather conditions are unfavorable, the tennis professional will determine which, if any, courts are playable.
 
7.   Complaints or Changes: All complaints and requests for changes must be made in writing to the Tennis Chairman.
 
8.  Non-member Guest Policy
A. Non-Member Guests: Members have the right to bring non-members to play tennis at IHCC, subject to the monthly restriction.  Non-members are restricted to playing a maximum of once per month at Idle Hour, regardless of who the non-member is a guest of (the “monthly restriction”). There is a $15 non-member fee charged to the member.  All non-member guests must be signed in at the Pro Shop.
B.  Club Functions: Non-members are allowed to play in Club functions such as Mixers, tournaments, etc.  These events would not count against their monthly restriction.  The intent for allowing non-members participation in these events is to encourage joining Idle Hour.
C. USTA League Play: Non-members are allowed to play on Idle Hour USTA League Team and are not subject to the monthly restriction for league matches.   They are subject to the monthly restriction for instructional/recreational play. All non-members on Idle Hour USTA League Teams must be approved by the Idle Hour Board of Directors prior to each season.
D. Out of town house guests: These non-members would not be subject to the monthly restriction.
E. Grandchildren of members: Grandchildren of members may participate in Idle Hour tennis programs.  They will be treated as members for summer camps but non-members for all other instructional/recreational play.
F. Youth Tennis Academy: Non-members may participate in the Youth Tennis Academy and would not be subject to the monthly restriction.
G. Summer Camps: Non-members may participate in summer camps but would be subject to non-member rates.
H. Monday Play: Non-members are not allowed to play on Mondays unless in an official USTA match as an approved member of an Idle Hour USTA League team.

Wellness Center Rules

 
1Normal Staffed Hours of Operation
     Monday through Friday      6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
     Saturday and Sunday           by appointment
 
2.  Children under age 12 are not allowed in the Wellness Center at any time unless working out with an approved trainer.  
 
3. Children ages 12 through 15 are allowed in the Wellness Center with parental supervision or if working out with an approved trainer.
 
4.  Children age 16 and over are allowed in the Wellness Center.      
 
            Members and their spouses have priority at all times.
 
5.  Everyone must complete the Health History Questionnaire/Waiver prior to their initial use of the facility.
 
6.  Everyone must sign-in at the reception desk prior to each use of the facility.
 
7. Proper workout attire is required for use of the facility.  (No open-toe shoes are allowed.) Shirts must be worn at all times.
 
8. Out of Town Guests must be accompanied by a member and are welcome but must sign-in at the reception desk.
 
9.  In Town Guests must be accompanied by a member and are allowed to use the facility for a guest fee of $5.00 per visit for a maximum of three (3) times per year and must check in at the reception desk.
 
10.  Personal trainers are allowed but are limited by the following criteria:
            a. They must be registered with the Wellness Director and have provided proof of certification to the Wellness Director.                
            b. Are allowed to perform personal training sessions during non-peak hours which are listed below:
                        (a)  10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon
                        (b)  2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
                        (c)  8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
             c. A Facility Fee of $5.00 will be charged for each session.  This fee will be billed through the member’s account.
 
11.  Please re-rack weights, place towels in the hamper and discard any trash before leaving.
